Convert captions/subtitles from TTML to SRT

TTML (Timed Text Markup Language) is used to write and transfer timed text information in a certain subtitle format. On the flip side, SRT (SubRip Subtitle) is a more universally accepted format that structures and formats subtitles with specific time and text details. Occasionally, it may become necessary to convert TTML files, created by certain unique software, into SRT files to make them accessible on multiple platforms. Step 1: Go to the Captions/Subtitles Converter

Step 2: Set conversion settings

Scroll down to the Convert To section. In the Select format dropdown menu, select “.srt” For the “Character Encoding” option, most users can just leave it as “UTF-8” unless your TTML file uses a different type of encoding.
